My Review:
Last week I was able to finish one book My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizebeth Russell and this book has shaken me and shocked me completely and is one of my very very favourite reads this year! It was so riveting and extremely unsettling. It was compelling to say the least and it constantly makes me question my moral standard, makes me THINK what is right and what is wrong. It is a book that will anger you so much that you will shake while reading some parts; it is a book that will frustrate you so much that you want to scream to the characters what’s wrong with you?! it is a book that will sadden you so much that you will cry for the innocence and the injustice of it all; most of all, it is a book that will leave a mark on your soul forever. I couldn’t move on from My Dark Vanessa ever since I finished this book, it is on my mind constantly. I feel changed and empowered in a way I can’t start to explain. It truly is a remarkable story and book!
