#octoberwrapup I read 5 books in the month of October. Not the best month in terms of numbers but definitely one of the best reading months in terms of the amazing books I read!
The highlights of the month:
* A Different Drummer by William Melvin Kelley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
* Friday Black by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
* The Lady and The Little Fox Fur by Violette Leduc⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They are all completely different but equally phenomenal! (Please see previous blog posts for my reviews).
I also had so much fun reading The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hong and Beautiful Boss by Christina Lauren. Such funny and sexy contemporary romance!

My reading highlight was the excellent historical novel Little by Edward Carey, set in Paris during the revolutionary period following the life of an amazing servant girl who works for a Doctor, a wax anatomist, and how she becomes a companion to the King’s young sister, and learns incredible skills that will in turn one day make her quite famous. And based on a true story, just fabulous.

I’ve just written my review of it, if you’re interested, you can also access a quick sample, so read a few pages first, that’s what hooked me right from the beginning.
