Jesse Ward is back in the newest novel in the Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling This Man series!
Life is good for Jesse ‘The Lord’ Ward. Perfect, actually. He still has the charm, he’s in great shape, and he still reduces his wife, Ava, to a pool of desire with a mere look. He’s in full control, just how he likes it.
But Jesse’s perfect world falls apart when a terrible accident lands Ava in hospital with a life-threatening head injury. Devastated and angry, he feels like his entire existence hangs in the balance. He cannot survive without this woman’s love. So when she finally comes around, his shaking world begins to level out. But his nightmare doesn’t end there. It’s only just begun. Because his wife can’t remember the last sixteen years of her life. That’s all of him. All of their time together. He is a stranger to her.
Now Jesse must do whatever it takes to find her memories . . . and help her fall madly, passionately in love with him all over again.
My Review: 5/5 Never Want This to End Stars!
I am honestly so happy and sad right now! Happy because this book is no doubt my favourite book in This Man series and it no doubt is my favourite book by Jodi BY FAR; I’m sad because it is finished and it is the end. I never want this series to end, ever!
To be honest I was nervous when I started this book because the ending in the third book was perfection. I didn’t want Jesse and Ava to have another obstacle in their life and another tragic event! I was apprehensive when I started this book but I was so surprised in the best way! 90% of the book is written from Jesse’s POV and I have loved every single word. Jesse Ward, sigh, he is the most possessive and controlling alpha EVER, and I love him for it. His love for Ava and his family is so fierce. I cannot tear my eyes away from this book. I couldn’t stop reading With This Man but at the same time I wanted to read it so slowly so I could savour the story word by word and sentence by sentence. It is so amazing!
Jodi has done an amazing job in portraying Jesse’s mind. The writing is so mature and so seasoned. It is effortless. Jodi has brought Jesse back to life and made us fall even more in love with this man. I laughed, I cried and I swooned. I love this book with all my heart.
I know I am going to read this book over and over again. I love, love, love it so very much that words fail me.
