I have no idea why but Wicked Torture is my first book by J. Kenner… I am kicking myself for not reading any of her other books earlier. This is a very enjoyable and fast-paced read.
The story follows Noah and Kiki who fell in love in their early twenties with hopes and dreams for the future together. One unexpected event led to Noah walking out of Kiki’s life. Ten years later they meet again and this time Noah fought to win back Kiki and never leave her again. In all, this is a second chance romance about finding trust and love again with each other.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is very fast paced which I love. The book is not too long only 227 pages but we have got some great characters, especially Noah! I love how intense but at the same time how sweet he is. The dialogue between Noah and Kiki is funny and witty. It has just got the right amount of sexy time and action going on. The characters from previous books also make an appearance in Wicked Torture which I am sure is a bonus for the readers who have been following this series. And I am going to get all the previous books as I would love to read their stories!
If you are looking for a quick but very enjoyable and sexy read, this is for you!
