Book Review, Favourite

The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons

March 7- March 24, 2016: First read.
Books shape our lives and change us through pages and words. I finished The Bronze Horseman last night. This is the most beautiful, romantic yet powerful and epic book I have ever read in my life. For a few minutes I was holding the book to my chest and I did not want to let go. I just wanted to hold on to every detail of the book. I physically cannot continue and have to stop a few times whilst writing this review. This extraordinary story has ripped my heart and soul wide open. I will never be the same again. I am permanently living in the world of Alexander and Tatiana.

I have never been affected by a book like this ever before. This book changed me in so many ways. The beautiful writing, the heart-wrenching story and the captivating characters make this book a masterpiece on its own. No other books that I have read can compare to this. I have a new perspective to life, to love, to the smallest things in life and to the simplest things that life has got to offer. I got to see what war can do to humanity but at the same time I see the most beautiful things that can emerge from the worst; love and hope. This is one of those books that you need to read in your life-time, so that you can experience things you have never seen before and feel the emotions you have never felt before.

This book and their stories will take you into an unforgettable journey that is bound to change you forever.

July 18 – August 16, 2017: second read.

This series will forever and ever stay as my favourite of all time. Nothing will ever compare to this book nor this series for me. Reading it the second time around, I have taken my time and I have noticed more details, it makes me fall in love with Shura and Tania even more. I have highlighted almost the entire book. The writing, the story, the scene setting are phenomenal. I am more in love with Paullina than ever before. This book makes me FEEL SOOO MUCH. EXTRAORDINARY and PHENOMENAL.
